The 800 calorie HCG Diet Protocol is a weight loss plan based on taking the HCG hormone either by drops under the tongue or by an injection that increases metabolism and promotes fat burning coupled with a very low carbohydrate diet of 800 calories a day. Many patients can easily lose between 5 to 7 lbs per week with a marked reduction in hunger and cravings, and without the need for much exercise (however, exercise is encouraged) on this plan.
800 Calorie HCG Diet- How it Differs from the 500 Calorie Simeons Diet from 1954:
The original Simeons diet was modified 6 years ago: with the addition of 300 calories including a small breakfast, larger protein portions and a few more fruits and vegetables.This proved more tolerable for most dieters. Surprisingly, the weight loss results were not much different than the 500 calorie diet plan. This is not unexpected. Hundreds of very low calorie diet plans show safety and fast weight loss with 800 calories a day. The NIH reviewed hundreds of these reduced calorie diets in 20. 12. Weight loss results using this system was also equal to the injection.
